About This Work
This had to be one shot, no cuts, because an energy as honest as Cleo's can't be assembled in the edit. I built a continuous line of movement the audience gets welcomed into, growing from held tableaus to grooves that sit right in the pocket of the track. Rehearsals were some of my favourites ever: genuinely collaborative, with Cleo trusting the process enough to develop her movement from a place of truth.
