The performance needed to feel one of a kind, different from anything the audience had seen across the event, while still sitting firmly within the taste buds of top-tier dance. Leaning into my stagecraft, I created a piece performed in the round so every angle of the crowd could catch the rhythmic transitions, playful reveals and choreographic tools they wouldn't get to see anywhere else that night. It was a moment to celebrate UK Streetdance culture and our incredible catalogue of UK music — the nostalgia of past classics, the present-day bangers that keep us moving through life, and the blend of both that pushes us forward, showing how our sound keeps rotating and opening new creative chapters while still ringing proudly from the UK. Beyond the movement itself, I put the same care into the music edit I built from scratch, right down to the simple-but-on-brand outfits, making sure every detail slotted into the Red Bull Dance Your Style world seamlessly.
