About This Work
This was such a fun process. I loved creating this movement while being able to inject humour, and it's always important to be intentional with movement and to hit the timing and camera shots precisely in order for the humour to land - especially for audiences watching this Yazoo Ad. It was integral for my work to ensure the talent built a genuine connection during the process to create a believable relation and rhythm on screen. Short and sweet but so effective. The framing of the performers being sat in the car meant we only had the upper body to work with which was a great challenge and a chance to utilise hand gestures, facial movement expression and directional shifts of taking up space within such a confined area.
